My Version of Events: A New Play

We're really excited to announce our next project, tickets are now on sale.

A multidisciplinary response to the nature of consent.

A rehearsed read of a new play by Rebekah Harrison, with a different cast each night; alongside multimedia art installations and a panel discussion.

*Please note, tickets for each night are limited, so we recommend booking in advance if possible.*

Take Back: Our Bodies

#TakeBackOurBodies last night was so special.

Thank you to all of the amazing creative team, who gave so generously of their time, talent and of themselves to create an evening that sparked conversation, discussion and new levels of understanding. Your love, support, honesty and downright amazingness was everything.

Thank you so much to all the fabulous audience who came and were a part of the conversation.

We ended the night with these words from the awesome Sandra Cole, "Everybody hold hands. One body."

It was an honour to share in that moment with such a diverse and united room full of people.

For us, it's what Take Back is all about.

So much love and solidarity,

Team Take Back xxx

Made at HOME

We have just finished a fantastic week of R and D, as part of Made at HOME, which has been such a brilliant time for us to develop new ideas, dreams and projects.
We finished with a little industry sharing of a new piece in development (one of our many ideas!)

We're really grateful to HOME Mcr for this opportunity and can't wait to work with them again. Check out their website here: https://homemcr.org

Thank you

A huge thanks to everyone who came to Take Back: America on Monday night and supported us. We were honoured to have such wonderful performances and writing and hope that everyone had a great evening and went away with a little more hope.

We are passionate about creating a close community of like minded, socially conscious people in Manchester and we were really pleased to see so many new faces.

Transcripts of all the pieces performed, plus those submissions we didn't get time to show are now available to view at the following link:

TB:America Creative Team

We're really excited to release the list of wonderful and inspiring creative people we have involved in TB:America and can't wait to see all the pieces next week!

Under Canvas at The Destitution Project

What an amazing day at The Destitution Project in Bolton! We took all your generous donations, set up our installation Under Canvas for people to experience and respond to, led an art-response workshop on home, and were privileged to just sit and chat and share in people's stories of life in Bolton.
We will be displaying an updated version of our installation Under Canvas in Bolton in February/March with the support of The Octagon Theatre.

If you're interested in helping the project please visit: https://www.boltoncvs.org.uk/news/destitution

Planning for Take Back: America

Not long to go now, one of our most enjoyable tasks is going through all the brilliant submissions and creating the running order of the show.
