Under Canvas

Under Canvas is an audio installation response exploring the stories of birth in refugee camps.

Voiced by actors and written by professional writers, gathered from sources across the world, Under Canvas explores the great equaliser of birth, the process that binds us together, even in conflict and trauma.

The piece includes responses from local people in Bolton, through our work with the Destitution Project, on a subject that touches us all.

This installation is open during library opening hours and is free of charge.

23rd January 2017

Comedy Store, Deansgate Locks, Manchester

Take Back: America

In light of the news this last week, we wanted to offer a space to come together and respond as an artistic community in Manchester.

So we want to invite you to join us at Take Back: America, on the 23rd January 2017 at the Comedy Store, Manchester. This will be just after the inauguration of the 45th President, which we feel is a significant time.

As ever, we know this will not change the result of the election, but we want to bring people together to start a conversation, about how we feel, what it means, and how the hell we move forward with HOPE from this seemingly catastrophic moment in global history. Writers and creatives to follow.

Tickets can be purchased from the link below (to be on sale shortly)
